NBI Water Quality Database
The NBI water quality database was launched in 2023. Its purpose is to centralise data from water quality monitoring campaigns acquired by the member countries of the Nile Basin Initiative, as well as data from continuous monitoring of water quality throughout the basin. The aim of this database is initially to improve knowledge of water quality in the basin and to support the process of prioritising actions to improve water quality. The database is fed regularly by the NBI member countries and currently contains almost 45,000 physico-chemical analyses.
